Sports TV (2019), and "Aaron and Abby's Adventures," a romantic comedy series of holiday short films that follows a couple through the first year of a new relationship.
His recent feature film
Love at First Spite (2025) won Best Comedy at the Gully International Film Festival and has been recognized on the festival circuit for its sharp writing and broad audience appeal, positioning it as a standout modern romantic comedy.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Jordan moved to Los Angeles shortly after graduating from Buffalo State University, where he became the first student in the university’s history to be nominated for the WGA Michael Collyer Fellowship for his screenplay Still Kickin’ (think "Superbad" but with senior citizens).
Jordan has sold multiple screenplays, including "The Devil Wears OshKosh," a mother-and-son comedy about two people who don't want to be mother and son, and "Ray and Sunny," a feel-good comedy about a boy trying to kill himself. His new Christmas romantic comedy,
My Fiancée Still Believes in Santa, is in pre-production with Maria Menounos.
He previously worked at 20th Century Fox, Untitled Entertainment, and MarVista Entertainment, gaining hands-on experience inside major Hollywood studios. He has also ghostwritten for several production companies and various clients.
During the 2020 pandemic, Jordan wrote and directed the award-winning feature Zoom comedy
Christmas Staycation (2020), now streaming on Tubi and available on DVD everywhere.
In addition to his creative work, Jordan is an active voice in the screenwriting community. He is the creator and host of
Screenwriters Talk Screenwriting (2024), a podcast featuring interviews with professional screenwriters, showrunners, and industry creatives. He also works as a screenwriting coach and consultant, mentoring writers at all levels, including established industry professionals.
