In mid-2006, Honda was scouted by seven different people on the same
day, which became the reason behind her entering the entertainment
industry. She then made her debut as an exclusive model to the magazine
"Seventeen" in the same year. In 2007, she switched magazines, being an
exclusive model for Love Berry.
From January 2010 onwards, she switched again to Non-no and is still an
exclusive model to the magazine.
On August 25, 2011, Honda appeared on the popular TBS program Akashiya
Sanma's "I've Always Liked You" as the person that Oriental Radio's
Shingo Fujimori liked, and from then on her television appearances
increased greatly.
In November 2012, she made her film debut by starring in the film
Fashion Story: Model (2012).
Her best seller theatrical feature is her next film work
The Rakugo Movie (2012). She played a girl who wants to be an author of novels,
and accidentally she meets a man(Takayuki Yamada as The Man) who
foresees fortunes of people.
The Rakugo Movie (2012) successfully and
historically got ranked as the #1 bestseller DVD Movie (the ranking
range includes the total sales of foreign DVD cinemas) in Japan by
Oricon Inc. Moreover, on October 22, 2013. And it is the first film which her
acting was shown at Grauman's Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood,
California, 2012.
She now keeps her acting works in TV networks and film industries.
