Emille Joson is an internationally acclaimed filmmaker born into a prominent political family in Nueva Ecija and raised in Plaridel, Bulacan. Born on October 10, 1992, she comes from a diverse lineage, with her mother having Spanish heritage and her father being of pure Filipino descent with Chinese ancestry. At just 19 years old, she earned multiple accolades for her critically acclaimed short film Adivino, marking a significant breakthrough in both local and international cinema. She is also the co-founder of Alaga Producers Cooperative, an organization committed to humanitarian efforts and supporting farmers.
