Roberto Proia

Born in Rome but raised elsewhere, he began his approach to movies at 16 by writing dozens of reviews on local newspapers and a few years later on national movie magazine "CIAK". In 2001, he started working in the Theathrical Distribution as Marketing Assistant, then Head of Marketing and Acquisitions, up to Head of Theatrical Distribution and Productions. After over 15 yrs of being exposed to hundreds of scripts he decided to start writing one of his own. The critical acclaim of his first one ("Come Non Detto") led him to write several more.
