Born and raised in San Antonio, Jason's passion for creating
characters, and entering those characters into everyday life, began at
a young age. He continues to have a passion for the 'story' within each
character he portrays.
Jason was fortunate enough to have caught the eye of key instructors
during his high school career, who not only invested in developing a
foundation for characterization, but also in technique. From monologue
competitions, to duets, to One Act Play contests Jason was consistently
provided valuable feedback that continued to grow his craft and
passion.
Performing the lead in multiple community theater plays led Jason to
pursuing a full time position with a non-profit where he developed
skits and characters for inner city youth. He continued developing into
the artist he is today in winning multiple awards in performing
supporting roles in short films, commercials, and most recently
competing the lead role in a independent film shot entirely in his home
city of San Antonio.
While Jason has a passion for developing characters and sharing them
with others on film, he would say he is fueled in purpose by serving
wounded service members in his full time position. And if you were to
find yourself searching for him on a Sunday morning, you wouldn't need
to look further than the nearest breakfast taco restaurant where he
would be enjoying Barbacoa Tacos with an ice cold Big Red.
