Sandra is a professionally trained actress with experience in film, television, theatre and commercials. Her understanding and respect for the craft come from training at the American Conservatory Theater, Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City, The Peoples Improv Theater NYC, and private coaching in the Meisner technique. She continues her training to this day.
She is also an independent filmmaker and producer. She honors the contributions of all those involved in bringing a film to life, recognizing that every role - on and off camera - is essential to the story.
Alongside her screen and stage work, she is a professional makeup artist and has worked primarily in weddings, special occasions, and Headshot makeup. She states, "Each face is a work of art and I can enhance its beauty."
She earned her Shodan (Black Belt) degree in Nihon Goshin Aikido under the instruction of Shihan Robert B MacEwen Jr.
Married to a veterinarian, she spent two decades helping to run their animal hospital, as hospital administrator, and often assisted in the care of animals - moments that brought her deep fulfillment and joy.
Her greatest blessing in life is being a mother and a grandmother.
