Kriti Sanon is a National Award-winning Indian actress who works primarily in Hindi cinema. Born in New Delhi to Rahul Sanon, a chartered accountant, and Geeta Sanon, a professor, she earned a degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology before pursuing a career in modelling and acting.
She made her acting debut in 2014 with the Telugu psychological thriller 1: Nenokkadine, opposite Mahesh Babu, and the same year entered Bollywood with Sabbir Khan's Heropanti. The latter earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut and marked her arrival in the industry.
Over the years, Kriti has built a versatile career with acclaimed performances and major commercial successes. Her notable films include Rohit Shetty's Dilwale (2015), the sleeper hit Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Luka Chuppi (2019), and the ensemble comedy Housefull 4 (2019).
