Parco Richardson is a Marine Corps veteran-turned-filmmaker based in Arizona, with over a decade of experience in commercial, narrative, and branded storytelling. Originally from the North Carolina, Parco discovered his love for filmmaking at a young age, turning to movies, TV, and video games as creative outlets. After serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, he used his G.I. Bill to attend film school, launching a career that began with PA work and grew into high-level producing.
He has successfully kickstarted two short films, raising over $12,000 for each, and his work has gone on to win several awards at film festivals across the country. Produced major campaigns for the State of Arizona Tourism, Visit Phoenix, and national brands across the U.S., and has developed a reputation for elevating underrepresented voices through impactful, visually driven work.
In 2024, Parco was selected for Issa Rae's Find Your People program through ColorCreative, where he produced two short films "Wake Up" and "The Braid" both of which showcase his passion for storytelling and collaborative filmmaking. Whether managing large crews or building out indie projects from the ground up, Parco is commitment to create work that is both meaningful and cinematic.
