Vanya Rainova is a producer, writer and story editor who works to enable authentic storytellers to bring their author-driven films to the big screen and beyond.
She has written and/or produced award-winning fiction and documentary films, which competed in the world's leading festivals, including Cannes Film Festival Critics' Week, Locarno IFF, Rotterdam IFF, Clermont Ferrand ISFF, HotDocs, Vision du Reel, Warsaw, Black Nights Tallinn, etc.
Vanya holds an MFA in creative writing from The University of San Francisco. She is a member of the EAVE and ACE producer networks, and a graduate of Midpoint Feature Launch (2019), Biennale College Cinema (2021), Torino Film Lab (2023). In 2023 she was selected by the European Film Promotion for the Producers on the Move program at Cannes Film Festival
