Biography

Raechelle most recently starred as Nicole Appleton in the Musical Biopic "Better Man", based on the life of UK singer Robbie Williams.

Raechelle also appeared in a series of films as the title character in the production "The Ruby Landry Saga", based on the V.C. Andrews "Ruby Landry" book series for the Lifetime/A&E Network. Prior to this, she played one of the lead roles (Atria Nine) in the CW Network premiere season of the television series "Pandora."

Back home in Australia, her breakthrough role was as series regular Olivia on the long-running Australian Network Seven television series "Home & Away.". She also starred in the co-lead role of Noushka in the award-winning short film "Second Best", directed by Alyssa McLelland.

In 2020, Raechelle co-directed with twin sister Karina Banno the short film "@Bladeroller: Case Unsolve", which was selected for the Sydney Underground Film Festival's "Take 48" lineup. Recently she was on one of only eight teams selected as finalists for AACTA x Monster Pictures Isolation independent film development initiative for their project "Blackheath."

In 2021, Raechelle made her directorial debut with "The Party Job", a short film she also wrote and produced with Palindrom Productions, the production company she shares with her collaborator, twin sister Karina Banno. Throughout its festival run, "The Party Job" earned Raechelle nods for Best Short Film, Best First-Time Director, and Best Debut Award, and won her the Emerging Talent Award at the Canberra Short Film Festival. After being selected and published on "Omeleto", hosting the world's best short films, "The Party Job" has been enjoyed by over 145K viewers.
