Biography

Grace C. Williams grew up home-schooled in an evangelical community in Northwest Pennsylvania town where she split her time hiding away at the theatre or dance studio. At 17, Grace relocated to NYC for Musical Theatre study at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. After spending her 3rd semester in Los Angeles at the age of 18, Williams decided to make the move to LA and transition into Film. Williams has a passion for complex female roles, (comedic and dramatic alike) and purposeful content.

As a very proud member of the LGBTQ community, intersectional stories, characters and perspective are at the core of her career trajectory. Grace C. Williams is a classically trained vocalist, dancer, and actor.

Fun Facts: Williams is a descendant of Ruth Felix-Landsdown- Ruth inherited the Iconic Los Angeles 'Felix Automotive' on Wilshire Blvd when her husband suddenly passed away in a tragic polo accident. Ruth ran the company and dealership in a crucial time for the automotive industry, and a crucial time for women. Ruth passed away on July 4th in the 80s at the Ardmore building on Whitely and Franklin. Little did Grace know, by chance, at age 21, she would move into the exact apartment in which Ruth resided. This information was confirmed when a relative stopped by to visit Williams, and recognized the apartment. This has been confirmed by several family members since. Ruth was referred to as "Auntie Ruth" and tales of glamour follow her memory still.

Williams, who has taken her mothers maiden name for stage and screen, has the birth name, Burwell. Williams is a direct relative of founding AA member, Jimmy Burwell. Jimmy is the reason the group adheres to the "god as we see it" Moto. And, Thanks to AA, Williams is now in recovery from the disease of alcoholism.
