Biography

Diego Silva Acevedo is a passionate filmmaker born in Colombia with over fourteen years as a filmmaker, director, producer, writer, visual effects artist and cinematographer encompassing not only feature films, but also music videos and commercial ads and television productions.

Diego Silva is creator of Mundo TV a streaming media service of Mundo Hispánico which now runs on Roku. He has worked with some of the most prominent news, television and film organizations as Nascar, NFL, Kelly Talk Show, Mundo Hispánico and Meridiano TV, Cox Media Group. Diego Silva is the recipient of numerous awards including sixteen Southeast Emmy Awards, eleven Telly Awards, and finalist of the United States Film Festival (2020). His films have garnered prestigious awards at some of the most prominent film festivals including the Hollywood Hills Film Awards (2019), Official Selection Best of Latin America Short

He earned a Master's degree in Digital Compositing from Universidad Javeriana in Colombia and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Santo Tomas University.

He is Seven Studios Production's owner and works with different brands as Cox Media Group, Toyota, NFL, NASCAR, Mundo Hispánico.
