Mike Doaga started his filmmaking career as an Actor/Writer. After finishing his training at NYU's Atlantic Acting School, he got to work on a series of acclaimed independent short films and webseries'. He is a co-creator of Inconceivable (2016), an IFP Gotham Award Nominee/Leo Award Winner for Best Webseries. He wrote and produced Outfest selection Automate (2018), a short film which has well over 1 Million views on YouTube, and co-wrote I Love You So Much Its Killing Them (2016), a genre festival darling and winner of Best International Short Film at Mexico's famed Macabro film festival, along with Leo Awards for Best Actress and Best Director.
Since 2020, Mike has prioritized local community engagement, activism, and sharpening his skills in 48 Hour film festivals and small scale projects while developing Mihnea: his first feature film as Director and Writer.
