Michelle Noland

Michelle Noland began her career as an assistant editor on the short film, The Butterfly, The Harp, and The Timepiece (2014), starring Academy-Award-winning actress, Melissa Leo. She went on to direct, write, and produce the short film, She Isn't Here (2016), which received a 3-year distribution deal from PBS and awards for Best Dramatic Short and Best Actress, as well as an official selection in film festivals around the world. From there, she co-directed and produced the short films, Run (2017), which won Best Director, and In The Waiting (2017), both of which were featured at numerous film festivals locally and internationally. Her latest film, Illusory (2021), received the ReFrame Stamp from IMDb Pro & Women In Film for a gender-balanced and ethnically diverse cast and crew and is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video after being in the film festival circuit, winning several awards for Best Feature, Best Actress and Best Director. She is co-owner of The Musty Creative studio which distributes its own podcast hosted and produced by Michelle which goes by the same name. The podcast features interviews with storytellers from CONAN, Five Feet Apart, Cartoon Network's Over The Garden Wall, and more.
