Lester Caacbay

Lester C. is a filmmaker and writer who continues to be involved in multiple aspects of the creative process, with a primary focus on screenwriting. A graduate of the International Academy of Film and Television, he has collaborated with fellow alumni on festival-recognized projects, including co-writing the full-length Cinemalaya 2022 entry Ginhawa, directed by longtime collaborator Christian Lat. He previously earned "Best in Editing" at the 2018 Sinulog Film Festival and has contributed writing to several developing film and television projects. Expanding his creative range, Lester also made his first contribution as a music composer to the Vivamax feature Sugar Baby, providing select tracks to the film’s soundtrack. He continues to pursue diverse storytelling opportunities across film, television, and music.
