Biography

Bárbara López is a Mexican actress and model born in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León on August 13, 1992. Bárbara gained greater recognition for her performance as Érika Ballesteros, in the novela Along Came Love (2016), shown by the channel Las Estrellas. Her great success, however, came when she participated in the Mexican TV series Amar a muerte (2018), in which she gave life to the character Juliana Valdés, who in history had a loving relationship with Valentina Carvajal, played by actress Macarena Achaga. This is how the famous shipper "Juliantina" emerged, the first lesbian couple to be presented in prime time by an open signal from the Las Estrellas channel. In early 2020, she gave life to the character Rocío, the protagonist of the Netflix series Unstoppable (2020).
