Biography

Mike Bove is a sought-after cinematographer who works on high profile commercials and feature films. He has lensed dozens of spots for large brands such as Allstate, Kellogg's, Kraft, Blue Moon, 5Gum and PWC in addition to several iconic opening title sequences for streamers and brands such as Apple+, Marvel, and Netflix. He also has experience shooting music videos for well known artists such as Regina Spektor and White Reaper.

Mike's first feature film, Uncle John premiered as part of the narrative competition at SXSW. This earned him a Best Cinematography award from the Midwest Independent Film Festival. Meanwhile, The Replacement played at over 70+ film festivals worldwide and was the winner for Best Short at the Sci-Fi London Film Festival. He's shot 3 other features as well as 2 pilots, one of which premiered at this years SXSW in March.

In addition he has won 3 Emmy awards as well as a Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for his work on various sports documentaries that have aired on ESPN. A passion project of his, Mudfest, garnered a coveted Vimeo Staff Pick.

Mike has an indelible love of cinema. He can talk about movies all night and sleeps with an Arri Alexa under his pillow.
