Niharica Raizada

Niharica Raizada is an Indian and Luxembourgish actress, model, producer, and public figure known for her work in Hindi cinema and international projects. She has appeared in films such as Warrior Savitri (2016), Masaan, Baby, Alone, Total Dhamaal, Sooryavanshi, and IB71. She has also been associated with German cinema through Himbeeren mit Senf and has remained active across the Bollywood and South Indian film industries.

Her entry into the entertainment world was shaped by success in pageantry and modeling. She was crowned Miss India UK and became the first runner-up at Miss India Worldwide in Durban. She was also selected to participate in I Am She, Sushmita Sen’s beauty pageant in Mumbai, representing Delhi. Her modeling career gained further visibility after winning the Signature Model Hunt, following which she walked for leading Indian designers, including Tarun Tahiliani, Manoviraj Khosla, and Sabyasachi. These achievements led to her acting debut in Warrior Savitri, where she worked alongside Om Puri and Gulshan Grover.

Over the years, Niharica Raizada has expanded her creative journey beyond acting. In 2025, she established Raizada Entertainments, reflecting her growing involvement in content creation and production. She also released the music video Ishqbaazi, dedicated to the memory of her grandfather, legendary music composer O. P. Nayyar. Her work in independent cinema includes projects such as Mercy, which was selected at multiple international film festivals in cities including Stuttgart, Melbourne, Barcelona, and Chicago. In 2025, she was associated with the development of Madame Cama, a film planned between Stuttgart and Mumbai, aimed at strengthening cinematic collaboration between India and Germany.

Born and raised in Luxembourg, she completed her early education at a European School and earned the European School Baccalaureate. She later pursued medical studies at Imperial College London and undertook postgraduate training in Translational Medicine with a focus on cardiology. During her academic journey, she collaborated with institutions such as the British National Heart and Lung Institute and the British Heart Foundation, contributing to public health advocacy, particularly in efforts related to the prevention of cigarette smoking by parents with young children in cars. Her advocacy also extended to related policy work in the United Kingdom.

Her research background was further strengthened when she received a Fulbright scholarship from Johns Hopkins University, where she conducted stem cell research focused on repairing heart scar tissue after a heart attack. Alongside her medical pursuits, she also worked with B4U and Indian television channels in New Jersey and New York, and hosted a medicine-based talk show connecting healthcare awareness with public outreach.

Niharica Raizada is the granddaughter of legendary music composer O. P. Nayyar. In addition to her film and media work, she has also been associated with the development plans of a specialized 70-bed interventional radiology facility, Iconic Tech Hospital, under the Raizada Group. Her journey reflects a unique blend of artistic expression, academic excellence, and social commitment.
