Award-winning voice actor and six-time SOVAS (Society of Voice Arts and Sciences) nominee Liana Bdéwi is a multilingual performer known for her vibrant, versatile voice and dynamic character work across animation, commercials, and live performance. Classically trained in acting, singing, and puppetry, she brings a unique blend of precision, playfulness, and emotional range to every project.
Fluent in English, French, and Armenian (with conversational Arabic and Spanish), Liana has voiced international campaigns for major brands including Google, Spotify, and Airbnb, as well as a wide range of animated and video game characters.
Her credits include Lana Longbeard, Reverse:1999, Tower of Fantasy, and the Academy Award-nominated film Tied Up directed by Konstantin Bronzit. She also voiced Astghik, the first Armenian character featured in Disneyâs Mickey Mouse Funhouse.
In addition to voice acting, Liana is an accomplished puppeteer specializing in Muppet-style hand and rod puppetry for film, television, and theatre. Her stage work includes productions of Avenue Q, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, and Elmer the Patchwork Elephant, as well as touring performances across Canada with Thank You For Being a Friend: The Ultimate Golden Girls Experience. On screen, she has puppeteered and voiced characters in childrenâs series including The Fabulous Show with Fay and Fluffy and Camp Cowabunga.
