Emanuela Fanelli

Emanuela Fanelli was born in Rome and began her career in theatre as a teenager. She made her film debut in 2015 with Claudio Caligari's "Non essere cattivo" and went on to star in films by Massimiliano Bruno, Laura Morante, Augusto Fornari and Claudio Bonivento. In 2016 he starred in the TV series "Dov'è Mario?" with Corrado Guzzanti. Since 2016, he has played various characters for the radio programme "610" by Lillo & Greg on Rai Radio 2. For TV he participates with two monologues in "La tv delle ragazze - Gli Stati Generali" (2018) and "Stati Generali" (2020) by Serena Dandini (Rai3). For Rai2 she is among the protagonists of the programme "Battute?" (2019) by Giovanni Benincasa and in 2020 and 2021 she collaborates - again with Benincasa - as presenter, actress and author for the programme" Una pezza di Lundini" with Valerio Lundini. At the end of 2019 she stars in the video clip Immigrato, a song by Checco Zalone made for the theatrical release of "Tolo Tolo". She participates in the Sanremo Festival 2021 as a guest for the third cover night. She won a series of awards, including a special mention as best actress and best monologue at the Ciak, si Roma! (jury members Carlo Verdone, Daniele Luchetti and Lina Wertmüller) and the Best Actress award at the 48h Film Project for her role in the short film "Un film d'amore". She is among the protagonists of Paolo Virzì's new feature film "Siccità", produced by Wildside and Vision Distribution for which she was nominated for the David di Donatello 2023. She was the godmother of the 2021 edition of the Turin Film Festival. She is among the protagonists of "Call my agent Italia", Italian remake of the French series, directed by Luca Ribuoli and as narrator in the documentary I" magnifici quattro della risata", (Benigni, Nuti, Verdone, Troisi) directed by Mario Canale, presented at the 2022 Rome Film Festival.
