Desta is a Norwegian presenter and former weather forecaster for StormGeo.
She has been the presenter of God morgen Norge on TV 2 since spring 2018.
Before starting her job as a weather forecaster, she worked for a year elsewhere at TV 2, first in the communications department and then in the planning and execution department. She debuted on TV2 on 23 March 2011.
On 30 November 2016, Beeder quit as weather anchor in the channel, and joined TV 2's sister company Vimond.
The company has offices in New York, and develops the technology behind TV 2 Sumo, but Beeder stayed in Bergen.
In the spring of 2018, she started as presenter of "God Morgen Norge". In 2022, she was presenter of the newly started TV 2 program Rydderevolusjonen. She has been a participant in the first season of Kompani Lauritzen in 2020. She was nominated for the audience award during Gullruten 2022 for God Morgen Norge and Rydderevolusjonen.
