He has appeared on the AMC television show "61st Street" in the first two seasons that starred Courtney B Vance. 61st Street
originally premiered on AMC and was picked up in second season by The CW, who acquired the series. The shows creator, Peter Moffet is known for " Your Honor " starring Bryan Cranston and Hope Davis. 61st street follows a promising high school athlete who is swept up into the infamously corrupt Chicago criminal justice system.
On STARZ, JaVarius worked on the drama thriller film "Once In A Valentine" opposite Loren Lott that starred Clifton Powell and was written and directed by Javon Johnson.
JaVarius is known for his work in the first two Seasons of ALLBLK Television "HUSH" opposite Erica Mena, produced by Chuck and Bree West.
Last year JaVarius filmed a supporting lead role in the feature film "Land Of Wolves" written and directed by Shaun Monson. He stars opposite Tyler Lepley and Mariel Hemingway. Soon to be released.
Beyond the screen in his spare time, JaVarius has built a meaningful legacy off-camera. He co-founded a performance arts school and film production company in South Carolina alongside acclaimed actor, writer, and director Javon Johnson (The Lincoln Lawyer, Tyler Perry’s The Oval) and international photographer Smitha Lee. Driven by a deep commitment to the next generation, JaVarius has spent a few years traveling to juvenile detention centers and correctional facilities - including the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center in Chicago - where he serves as a mentor and life coach to incarcerated youth. He also visits elementary and middle schools as a big brother across Atlanta and South Carolina, acting as a positive role model to our youth by making a positive impact.
