A Visionary Showrunner who created Blackverse, a live sci-fi sketch show that fuses the black experience, American culture, raw imagination, and current events. BlackVerse was considered "The future of sketch" and one of the best shows at the Pack Theater during its run.
Over several decades of industry experience, Jamil has performed everywhere from The Comedy Store on Sunset to the Second City Diversity Fest to the Leimart Park Festival to the Annual Compton Christmas Show. Jamil brings jokes everywhere from anime, to arcade aesthetics, he can turn real-life grit into sharp, unforgettable comedy. He's led various writers' rooms, one more recently at Team Inviz a company owned by Michael Bay which produced content for several prominent social media influencers.
