Cinthya Vargas is a Brooklyn-born Latina actress with Puerto Rican and Dominican roots, fluent in Spanish. She discovered her passion for acting at the City College of New York and has since been dedicated to refining her craft. Most recently, Cinthya trained in the Meisner Technique at the William Esper Studio's 2-Year Professional Training Program, graduating in 2023.
In 2024, Cinthya wrote, produced, and starred in her debut short film, BLAND, which premiered at the Big Apple Film Festival. She has also appeared in several short films, including Male Pattern Boredness, which was featured at the NY Short Film Festival. Cinthya was also seen on stage as Lorraine in Muddy Mother Murder at Under St. Marks Theatre, produced by Broomstick Theatre, where she is now a member.
Cinthya is passionate about bringing complex and unique characters to life on both stage and screen and looks forward to continuing her journey of creating impactful stories.
Her special skills include: Meisner, Spanish, dialects, comedy, improv, singing (mezzo-soprano), and salsa dancing.
