Biography

Hugo Brijs is an award-winning composer, producer, artist and musical director. He is known for his work as Composer and Musical Director on "Pretty Red Dress", the debut feature from writer/director Dionne Edwards, which was selected by Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair and The Guardian in their best films of 2023 and picked as a Film of the Week by Mark Kermode. He is also known for his work as Musical Director on the TV drama "Champion" written by Candice Carty-Williams and as Musical Director and Composer on the forthcoming Channel 4 feature film "Surviving Earth" directed by Thea Gajic. As a co-founder of the composer team Thunderdrum, Brijs collaborated with UK artist Tiggs da Author on the soundtrack for "Assassin's Creed: Shadows", the next installment of Ubisoft's AAA video game franchise.
