Danielle Pinnock is an award-winning actor, writer, and creator recognized as one of Hollywood's most versatile comedic talents. She stars as fan-favorite "Alberta," a Prohibition-era lounge singer turned ghost, on CBS's hit comedy Ghosts-recently renewed for Seasons 5 and 6-which earned her the 2025 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
Her recent film work includes Candy Cane Lane opposite Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross for Prime Video. As a creator, Pinnock is developing the adult animated comedy Unmentionables with Anthony Hemingway and Taraji P. Henson.
Past credits include Young Sheldon, Get Shorty, A Black Lady Sketch Show, This Is Us, and Scandal, plus voice work in Boss Baby: Back in Business, Thundercats Roar, and Where's Waldo?
Her viral comedy platform @BodyCourage showcases characters like Mrs. Claus and the Parisian Bedbug, blending sharp humor and heart to celebrate joy and self-love. A classically trained performer mentored by Anna Deavere Smith, Pinnock earned her BA from Temple University and MFA with First Distinction from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Born in New Jersey to Jamaican parents, she now resides in Los Angeles.
