Karlos Granada

Karlos Granada is an Actor, Writer, Director and Producer. He was born on September 17, 1974, in the City of Estepona, (Malaga-Spain). Karlos was born to Jose and Angela who were of meager means, they lived in a small one-bedroom flat. Jose and Angela separated when Karlos was 7 years old. He was raised by his paternal grandmother Catalina. When he was 8 years old there was a film being produced in his town and he was given a small role. The love of the art was sparked in him at this time. Simultaneously, he was taken under the wing of Luis Miguel Dominguin and Palomo Linares as he was introduced to the world of Bullfighting. He competed in his first Bullfighting run at the tender age of 13 in Barcelona. His Bullfighting career span through the next 25 years, he became internationally known as Lima de Estepona, appearing in arenas throughout Europe and South America as well as pioneering the no kill Bullfighting in the USA where he competed in many States. His love of acting never waned. At the age of 18 he studied acting at R.E.S.A.D. in Madrid, Spain. In 1998 he studied at Teatre Mocha Grana in Lima Peru, In Columbia he studied with Mario Mitroti as well as at the Escuela de Actores America productions. Karlos has a love of learning when he is interested in a topic, he throws himself into it with all his might. His many different approaches to acting make him a versatile actor. He is just as comfortable playing a pauper as he is playing a prince, excelling in the dark realms as psychopath demonstrated in the movie The Last Hours of Che Guevarra where he singlehandedly captivated the attention of the audience for almost 2 hours. One of his earliest projects included working on the series Highlander with Director Dennis Berry where he was cast as Will Katon appearing in four episodes. During his travels in Peru, he was given the opportunity to debut in the world of soap operas. Later he appeared in other Soap operas rolled in Italy, Colombia, and Mexico. In 2007 He broke into film, participating in a total of 77 movies. He has also written, directed and produced all types of media. He has successfully entered the theatre realm, starring in several productions with the longest running for two years between 2011 and 2012. Among his many talents Karlos has studied and obtained degrees in Law, helicopter pilot, Ship captain, Mounted bullfighter, Equestrian, Martial arts 1st Dan. He is also an elite athlete, participating in over twelve marathons. Karlos has worked as an actor in thirteen countries. He is an excellent dancer and singer. Karlos can multitask and is versatile in his interests which include but are not limited to skiing, golfing, boating and painting. Karlos is a world traveler and extremely cultured. He is a fashionable dresser and has modeled for Hugo Boss and Versace. Karlos has lived an extraordinary life, accomplishing what most people do not in 10 lifetimes. He is a well-rounded, extremely cultured, and fashionable man. He is determined to succeed in any venture that he sets his mind to. On a personal note, Karlos is kind and generous, he has a soft spot for the underprivileged and destitute. Especially dear to him are the children that are impoverished or orphaned. He founded a non profit organization that provides aid to children in Colombia. He has not been lucky in love but as he has said on many occasions "the best is yet to come". Today Karlos is living in the United States with his three cats, and his dog Princess Kyra. He has several important upcoming projects, in the United States, Spain, Italy and Mexico. He is grateful to the United States, a Country that welcomed him with open arms and made him feel as if he belonged.
