Marthilia Svarna is a Greek actress, director and writer.
She studied method acting in Los Angeles,CA at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, Musical Theatre in the UK at Performers College and she is also a professional ballet dancer, practicing the RAD system.
Her first stage play "Our Basement" premiered at The Marilyn Monroe Theatre in West Hollywood, CA in 2018. A year later a Greek adaptation of the play, premiered in her hometown, Athens, Greece. Since 2019, Marthilia is focusing on her acting career, working mainly on Greek TV series and films.
She has also been writing and directing her own short films, video art projects and music videos. In 2025, her first short film "Give me 5 minutes", premiered as an official selection at the Drama International Film Festival as well as other festivals in Greece and Europe.
Apart from acting and directing, Marthilia finds inspiration in signing, songwriting, writing and has recently published a collection of poetry and short stories.
