Alimohammad Eghbaldar was born in 1989 in Iran. He holds a BS in Computer Science and an MS in Political Science. After graduating, he pursued his interest in cinema and began filmmaking. He also completed a directing course at the Iranian Youth Society Cinema (IYSC). In 2002, he founded Iran Film Port (Under Gravity Films company license), where he currently serves as the CEO. Iran Film Port is involved in international film distribution and marketing, as well as the promotion of films and scripts. Eghbaldar's movies have been selected and awarded in numerous international film festivals, and he has also been invited to serve as a judge in several film festivals.
