Singer songwriter, acclaimed novelist (One Stupid Thing), Co-producer, Music Supervisor. Professor of Creative Writing at University of Maryland and Belmont University in Nashville. Started the rock band Acoustic Junction, toured as a solo artist with Shawn Colvin, Ani Difranco and more. Published eight novels, both young adult and adult fiction. Attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and received Masters from University of Southern California. Currently resides in Nashville, TN, and Nantucket, MA.
