Did you know
• Alexander Korda thought the film was dreadful and would only be given a limited country release with no London showing, but another film failed and Korda's company was approached for a replacement. 'Nightbeat' was all that they could offer but at the press show the critics thought it was awful and the only good thing was the performance of Michael Medwin.
• Before the lads' first patrol a list of missing cars is read out. One of them, ANY 129, is a real registration. A black Ford from 1935 which still existed as recently as 2022 and maybe still does.
