• Eva Perón's favorite Yvonne De Carlo movie. When she visited Argentina shortly after the film's release, De Carlo publicly stated that she wanted to meet the Argentine First Lady. A few minutes before De Carlo's plane was about to leave, Mrs. Perón phoned her and said she was a big fan of her movies, especially this one. She also told her that she was thinking about making a movie of her life and thought De Carlo "would be perfect" in her role. The First Lady also gifted De Carlo an autographed copy of her autobiography.
