β€’ After Dick Powell passed away on Jan. 2, 1963, an impressive list of guest hosts filled in each week, beginning with Gregory Peck; others included Robert Mitchum, Frank Sinatra, Robert Taylor, John Wayne and Ronald Reagan.

β€’ Aaron Spelling produced and wrote some of the shows. Spelling would later become one of the most successful producers in TV history, with credits that included The Love Boat (1977), Charlie's Angels (1976) and Dynasty (1981).
