Did you know

• This was one of the few non-Hammer films to be shot at Bray Studios, Berkshire, during the company's occupancy. The production recycled interior and exterior sets immediately recognizable from the Hammer films The Crimson Blade (1963) and The Devil-Ship Pirates (1964).

• Much of the battle at the end comes from stock footage from The Black Knight (1954) .

• The white armour worn by Ronald Lewis appears to be the same armour worn by Alan Ladd in the Black Knight made in the 1950's.
