Most or all music featuring in the film was used without permission of copyright holders (when the film was first released).

The droning theme music that plays whenever the main villain is on screen is the track "Super 16" by German band Neu!. It is a slowed-down version of the song "Super", which is also the music of the opening credits.

The One-Armed Bum smashes 7 flies with his hand, and then brags: "I killed seven with one blow!" This is based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale "The Brave Little Tailor," because he also had smashed 7 flies, and tried to make people think he had killed 7 enemy soldiers.
