• Ran continuously at the Moulin Cinema in London's West End from 1977 to 1981, earning the record for the longest theatrical run in British cinema history (as of Feb. 2000).
• The producers originally wanted Joanna Lumley,Valerie Leon, and Jane Seymour. All declined.
• Several hardcore porn scenes were shot, which would have appeared towards the end of the film. They included the lesbian scene between Mary Millington and Penny Chisholm, as well as the heterosexual sex scenes between Lisa Taylor and Derek Aylward, Suzette Sangalo Bond and an unknown male, and Sonia Svenberger and Gordon Hickman. However, before the film was released, all those scenes were edited to cut out any explicit footage, which reportedly went missing soon afterward. These scenes remain in the film, albeit heavily cut down to softcore, with only a close up of Chisholm's "flushed" face while Millington performed oral on her, remaining. Reportedly, Marks and Sullivan never intended to release the hardcore versions in the film. They just filmed the scenes to impress investors visiting the set.
