Did you know
• Several scenes in the beginning of the movie were shot in and around CERN, the European Laboratory for particle physics. This includes scenes in the UA1 experimental hall, where the W and Z particles were discovered, for which the 1984 Nobel Prize in physics had been awarded.
• In Spain it was released directly on video in 1992. The poster made for this edition mixed the original posters of The 'Burbs (1989) (with Tom McCamus looking more like Tom Hanks, but keeping his hair) and Poltergeist III (1988) (using the skyscraper).

Better than you'd think from the title
Norman's Excellent Adventure
It's not an awesome adventure when you want to see the main characters tortured after the first ten minutes.
