Did you know
• Yang Wen-li was Kei Tomiyama's final role, although older work has come out posthumously. He died September 25, 1995 of pancreatic cancer, shortly after completing his work on Legend of the Galactic Heroes.
• There are so many characters that their names are always shown onscreen even if they're main characters.
• The romanization of the characters' names differs between the DVD- and laserdisc subtitles. E.g. Walter von Schönkopf (DVD) / Walter von Schenkopp (LD). The series' IMDb page follows the DVD subtitles, as they are generally considered more authentic, besides closer to their German origin.
