• Mutant (1984) and this loose remake featured Wings Hauser and Bo Hopkins as the main characters.

• When rehearsing the diner knife scene, co-Writer, co-Producer, and Director Nico Mastorakis used an actual knife on himself to demonstrate what was supposed to happen during the scene.

• One of several off-set incidents involving Wings Hauser included a dispute between Hauser and his brother at his motel room, to the point that Hauser drove his brother's head through the motel room's drywall. The incident ended with Wings being arrested, and co-Writer, co-Producer, and Director Nico Mastorakis and some of the crew had to bail him out.
