Did you know
⢠According to Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger tricked him into doing the movie by faking interest in it, as part of their friendly (but sometimes unfriendly) rivalry in the 1980s and early 1990s. Schwarzenegger admitted in an interview that he had read the script first, and felt it was "a piece of shit", so he declined. It was then offered to Stallone, who called Schwarzenegger to ask him if he was ever approached for it. Schwarzenegger called the film "a really brilliant idea", and told him that he was thinking about doing it: "When [Stallone] heard that, because he was in competition, he said, 'Whatever it takes, I'll do the movie.'" Stallone wasted no time in calling his agent to get him in the film, which became a major critical disaster that won three Razzie Awards, including one for Stallone as Worst Actor.
⢠Sylvester Stallone considers this the worst film he's ever done.
⢠When Estelle Getty found out that the movie would involve guns, she said she would only do the movie if there were no guns. The producers lied, saying there would be no guns in the movie, to get her to sign on.
