• Linnea Quigley said she was cast the day before shooting began and she had to learn all the dialogue by six the next morning, which she said was basically impossible. She said in spite of a long time working relationship with director David DeCoteau, she doesn't like the movie because "it isn't made well. The music is really bad and there are pointless shots of girls dancing in bikinis that go on forever."

• Features the brothers of three more famous actors: Joe Estevez (brother of Martin Sheen), Don Swayze (brother of the late Patrick Swayze), and Joey Travolta (brother of John Travolta). The movie's trailer especially points this gimmick out. Another relative of a famous star in the cast is Jackie Stallone, mother of Sylvester and Frank Stallone.

• Director David DeCoteau used the pseudonym Ellen Cabot. He told Draculina magazine that Ellen Cabot was an old girifriend from high school who he had a real bad break up with his senior year. He said she was a screaming bitch. So whenever he made what he feels is a very bad movie, he used her name instead of his in the credits. He later told Femme Fatales magazine that that story was made up to hide the fact that he is gay
