Did you know

• After the success of The Rugrats Movie (1998), Nick and Klasky Csupo had plans to make a movie out of this show. However, production of the movie was shut down, due to the story being "too dark" for children. Information on what the movie was going to be about hasn't been revealed.

• Unlike the majority of animated productions, the three principal voice cast members (Charlie Adler, Christine Cavanaugh, and David Eccles) recorded their lines together in the same studio. In a Nickelodeon interview, they claimed that this greatly helped their characterizations, as it allowed them to play off of each other more smoothly.

• Ickis was frequently confused for a rabbit. Charlie Adler (Ickis) more famously provided the voice of Buster Bunny in Tiny Toon Adventures (1990).
