• Jennifer Aniston guest-starred as the voice of Galatea, Hercules' dream date. At the time, she was dating Tate Donovan (the voice of Hercules).
• All of the main cast members from the movie reprised their roles for the series, except for Danny DeVito as Philoctetes, and Rip Torn as Zeus, who was replaced by Robert Costanzo and Corey Burton, respectively. Burton also had a role in Hercules (1997), where he voiced a Burnt Villager.
