Storyline

One night at the Station Hotel a group of strangers play cards to see who will sleep in hotel room 207 - a room rumoured to be haunted, where you 'dream the dreams of the ones who slept before you...' And in the process learn too much about each other's dark secrets. As their lives tangle in paranoid deadlock, the only escape becomes murder.

Did you know

• Ute Lemper also contributed the song "Whenever We Get Close (We Fall Apart)" to the soundtrack of "Appetite". Right after filming ended, she started rehearsing for the West End production of "Chicago" which opened in late 1997.

• Due to financial reasons, "Appetite" was filmed entirely on the Isle of Man, although there are no exterior shots showing the island.

• Ute Lemper's last appearance as the lead actress in a feature film. She later appeared in a few television films and series, or had cameos as a cabaret singer in films by Woody Allen or Michele Placido.
