Did you know
• "The Polka Dot Door" aired every weekday. Each day of the week had a different consistent theme. Monday was "Treasure Day". Tuesday was "Dress-Up Day". Wednesday was "Animal Day". Thursday was "Imagination Day". Friday was "Finding-Out Day".
• Although it appears improvised, the show was tightly scripted. Prior to filming a series of five episodes, the two cast members, director, and music director would usually meet at a local church to read through the scripts, rehearse songs, and rework segments to be sure that they ran close to the allotted time.
• Polkaroo was created by Tanya Petrova, Canadian "Soft Sculpture" artist.
