• At the beginning of the film, the prisoners are said to be held in the Rural Prison of Tiryns, one of the oldest and most distinctive correctional institutions in Greece. It is located in the area of ancient Tiryns, very close to Nafplio, a small town in the Argolis region about 150 km from Athens. After the release, the sniper who kills the elderly former inmate is positioned on the ramparts of the Palamidi fortress in Nafplio.
• The kidnappers' hideout, where they are holding the shipowner's daughter, is located in the Mavrolimni area, a lake on the shores of the Corinthian Gulf, about 10 km from Alepochori. During the Alcyonides earthquake of 1981, a 30-meter section of the natural embankment collapsed, causing the lake to merge with the waters of the Corinthian Gulf and thus become a lagoon, which also serves as a marina for boats.
