• UFO (1970) soundtrack composer Barry Gray was erroneously confused with James Bond composer John Barry, then, music from the latter's soundtracks for From Russia with Love (1963) and Thunderball (1965) was used.
• In 1973, Edizioni Salani Firenze, in Italy, released a "UFO: Distruggete Base Luna" board game, in which UFOs tried to attack and destroy Moonbase. Two versions were released: one with cardboard spacecraft miniatures and one with plastic ones.
