Did you know
• Insane Clown Posse member Violent J was offered a role as a prison guard, which he would have had to perform without his trademark facepaint. However, he declined & refused the role because he did not want to play a racist prison guard character.
• Film was originally intended to be a full-fledged musical, but this tested poorly with audiences, so most of the musical numbers - except the most essential to the story - were cut. This helps explain the mysterious appearance of Elvis Costello in two roles in which he does very little.
• The feature film debut of R&B singer Mary J. Blige.
