Did you know
• One show in the second series (aired in the beginning of 2002) had more than 2.5 million Danish viewers (half the entire Danish population), meaning that 73% of Danes who had their TV turned on at the time were watching the show.
• Many of the criminal cases in the series are based on true Danish cases, although modified for dramatic purposes. The disclaimer in the credits reads: "'Rejseholdet' er fiktion, med fiktive karakterer, inspireret af virkelige hændelser" ('Rejseholdet' is fiction, with fictional characters, inspired by real events').
• The original series title, "Rejseholdet" (which translates into "the traveling team"), is the Danish equivalent of the FBI, i.e. a special police force not restricted by boroughs, city limits, and Danish regions, although all Danish police officers are technically not restricted by geography. Its formal name is "Rigspolitichefens Afdeling A", or "Section A of the National Police Commisioner", or just "Rejseafdelingen" - "The Traveling Department".
