• This show was a reformat of the long-running kids' show "Wonderama," whose host, Bob McAllister, would sing "Kids Are People Too" in each show.

• In 1980, Glam Rock band, KISS first introduced their newest member at the time, Drummer, Eric Carr who had replaced Peter Criss in the band, on Kids Are People Too.

• The original host, Bob McAllister, opened the show by interacting with his audience throwing a ball to various audience members, who would throw the ball back. The next host, Michael Young, opened the show by kissing the female audience members.
